Our Favourite Eastbound Restaurants
Our team not only shares a passion for real estate, but we also love food! Check out our favourite east end restaurants that never disappoint.
Isabella’s Boutique Restaurant
This new breakfast and lunch staple in the Beach is located at 2066 Queen St E, but don’t expect the standard fried eggs and toast! For a different spin on the most important meal of the day, check out Isabella’s for their signature mochi-mochi pancakes, Eggs Yuzu Benedict, and not to be missed Japanese Curry Poutine.
Lake Inez has been tickling the palettes of the Gerrard & Coxwell neighbourhood for a few years now, enticing patrons to sample the Asian-inspired menu and extensive beer and wine list. Eclectic, cozy décor make you feel like you’ve been invited to a friend’s dinner party. With an ever-changing menu, you will have to go back a few times to sample everything! It’s always busy, so make reservations!
Lady Marmalade opened its doors in 2009 after owners David and Natalia moved to Toronto from BC where David and his sister Carla started the original Lady Marmalade location. The specialty? Brunch (do yourself a favour and go for the eggs benny!) and Mexcican dishes at their finest! The ambience? Clean lines with organic finishes, adding to the freshness of the entire experience.
Italian food is meant to be cooked with passion, then savoured and indulged. Ascari has created a menu nothing short of exquisite. The Cavoletti di Bruxelles are to die for and Spaghetti alla Carbonara are just some of our many favourites. The dishes are colourful and layers of ingredients add to the character of each plate. Don’t miss out on the indulgent desserts and fantastic Italian cocktails!
Our favourite happy hour hangout and watering hole. The vintage ambience and décor are cleverly matched with the cheeky cocktail menu. Some of our favourites include the Gilded Radner, Beck Taxi and the Texas Panhandle. Cocktails aside, the food is incredible! The prime rib burger is an across the board favourite, and who can resist the oysters.
Pinkerton’s Snack Bar
Gerrard Street East has really changed these last few years, with bustling additions like Pinkerton’s Snack Bar. Its fun, funky interior is punctuated by a large bar, manned by notoriously friendly staff, who have stocked their extensive cocktail menu with old classics like Whisky Sours and Manhattans. Customers’ pointed favourite elements of this hopping joint are the delicious, ever-changing small shared plates, loud music, and eclectic vibe!
